After the Certification Assessment was built out with all the sections, questions, and answer options we went about adding scoring to the questions and answer options so that there could be metrics in place to evaluate passes or fails. Something to note here is this step can happen concurrently with building the questions if you have planned ahead and decided the structure of scoring as well as when it is done this way it can be seen as easier, but that is up to you. For our scoring, we kept it simple and we had 50 questions all worth 2 points totaling to a max score of 100. Each question only had one correct answer that was weighted at 100% (2 points). Sometimes it helps to keep it simple when you can, but the scoring ability is robust and you can make it as complicated as you desire.
