The report builder allows for easy generation of customized reports based on ExAM objects. Using the report builder you are able to customize the data that is included as well as the format it is exported in and several other features.

To utilize the report builder you will navigate to the Report Builder tab.

On this page, you are able to select all the information that determines how the report is generated.The first step is to select the General Information by filling out the fields within this section with the desired input.

Next, you are able to select the field from the assignment manager that you want to display on the report. To do this you will select the desired field from the picklist and click Add. The field you select will show up underneath and will appear on the report with the same orientation that is displayed here. You are also able to add blank spaces to achieve the formatting that is desired.

In the next section, you are able to select different assessable object field to add to the report dependent on what assessable object you have selected. To make these additions you will simply select the assessable object and add the fields to the report the same way that you have previously done it.

The final step is to select the sections and details you want to be included from the assessment data. To do this you are able to check the box relating to the information that you wish to be displayed.

Once you have all the information inputted into the report builder you can then click Save & Generate Report if you plan to run this report multiple times or you can just click Generate Report. Dependent on the output format that you have selected you will either be directed to a new tab with the report displayed or you will have the report downloaded to your device.

Once you get the hang of the report builder you will have the ability to generate reports quickly containing exactly the information that you need access too. This feature allows for powerful reporting to be achieved through easy point and click methods.
